Vivienne Westwood Flagship Opens in China

Vivienne Westwood's Flagship store in China opens today in the mall Grand Gateway 66. Its the designer's 3 store in China. There are plans for additional stores to open across China within the next three years, with rumoured plans of creating a China specific collection. Westwood is set to open 30 boutiques in China, and fellow British fashion house Burberry has confirmed that it will add 66 stores to its current 44 Chinese outlets by 2012. This comes as no surprise as luxury houses are eager to expand in Asia given the increase in luxury spending there.
