Los Angeles based artist Andrew Lewicki is the latest idiot, I mean artist, to use the Louis Vuitton logo. Not too long ago, Lewicki posted images of the "Louis Vuitton Waffle Maker" to his website. He created the aluminum sheet embossed waffle maker with the signature Louis Vuitton Toile Monogram print. People just don't get it. Louis Vuitton is not the design house to mess with. Put simply: don't use its logo without getting a license to do so or else you will definitely be getting a cease and desist letter from Michael Pantalony, the french design house's Director of Civil Enforcement. Note to the artists out there: if Louis Vuitton legal will go after Machine Guns Vegas and the University of Pennsylvania Law School, they will go after you.
